遗嘱执行宣誓书（确认书）应与遗嘱及遗产规划同时准备。遗嘱执行宣誓书用途是证明遗嘱签署时有两名证人在场。宣誓过程必须委托注册律师或其他宣誓书专员执行。

需要履行遗嘱意愿时（单独遗嘱或双遗嘱之首要遗嘱必须进行遗嘱认证），遗嘱执行人必须向法庭提出遗嘱执行宣誓书才能得到遗嘱认证。

单独遗嘱或双遗嘱之首要遗嘱执行人必须向法庭提交遗嘱执行宣誓书才能通过遗嘱认证。遗嘱认证是履行遗嘱意愿必须的文件。假若立遗嘱人在世时没有准备遗嘱执行宣誓书，立遗嘱人的代表必须与遗嘱签署时的证人再次安排宣誓过程或向立遗嘱人的银行确认银行（与遗嘱的）签名记录以及安排授权签署。

如果遗嘱不能通过法庭认证，政府会根据法律（“继承法改革法案“）将决定如何处理你的遗产。
